Vichy Dermablend #15 Opal
I wanted to try Dermablend from the Vichy for a very long time. I read almost all good reviews about this foundation (it can also be used as a concealer) and the famous Lisa Eldrige always talks how good is this product, so what was there to think?
It can be bought on line (escentual.com etc.) or in the pharmacy's. The price is around 14 pounds (25$) for 1. oz of product.
It comes in a classic tube package. The shade I will be reviewing today is the lightest of 5 available shades in the range - #15 - Opal.
There is also a package in a stick, and it offers 7 shades of colors. And also, the stick version is offering a lighter shade than those in a tube.
Vichy Dermablend has a very high coverage. You really need a tiny amount to cover the whole face. It is very light in texture, very easy to blend, and it blends perfectly onto skin.
It is also very good for problematic skin, and it will not cause any allergies on the skin, and it has a SPF35.
I use it to cover my under eye area, because it looks horrible. Those sleepless night are starting to show up a lot. And I do look like a zombie. You've been warned!
Vichy says that Vichy Dermablend should last up to 12 hours, but I can't agree with that because it lasted much less on my skin, around 5 hours, when it started to fade and gone into the pores around my eyes.
Anyway, I like this product a lot, because it has a very nice texture and high coverage. So I will definitely purchase it again.
To confirm you my writing, here are the swatches:
