Today I'm reviewing two YSL eyeshadow palettes.

YSL Sun Palette Horizon - this palette was imagined for the summer makeup. As you can see, these are all summery color. :) And the package also isn't usually like other YSL palettes with gold case.

This palette was a Limited Edition for summer 2006.

Sorry for not having new pictures of the palette, I lost them while I was installing new Windows.

Back to the palette. I bought mine over straweberrynet.com, for around 18$. Great deal. It comes in brown box, and inside box you have a velvet pouch with applicator hidden in a inner pocket of the pouch.

Package of this palette is hard and quality, and it contains a mirror. This palette has a 4 eyeshadows + highlighter (those stripes all over the palette). I literally just watch this palette for a few days before I had the courage to use it.

This bronzy and yellow/golden color contain shimmer, and they are more softer and pigmented, than a turquoise and dark blue which are matte. Dark blue is less pigmented than the other colors. And you can see that in swatches below.

YSL Midnight Garden Ombres 5 Lumiers Palette - I fell in love for this pallet since my friend showed me. Thanks S. :D

Palette comes in a gold hard case, with 5 colors, mirror and 2 applicators. It was released as a Limited Editon for fall 2011. Price here in Croatia is a bit pricey around 85$.
I have to admit that quality of this Midnight Garden palette is better than those in the Sun Horizon palette. All colors in the Midnight Garden have shimmer in it, they are with great pigmentation and are easy to blend. They really makes a killer combination on you're eyes, and this is definitely the best eyeshadow palette I own, and where can I use all colors.
