Weleda - natural cosmetic
Last month the Weleda send me a few samples of their products for reviewing. I was very happy about it because I was planing to try some of their product for some time.
Iris Hydrating Facial Lotion - this is definitely my favorite product of all. I read about it a lot on the internet, and some how I presume that it would fit me, and the smell of an iris was also a plus. I love the smell of iris! This cream is white in color, it is not too thick, it can be used as a day or as a night cream. It has a bit overpowering smell, some combination of iris root and hamamelis virginiana (this plant is often used for a skin illness, and it is also a strong antioxidant)
The smell disappears a few moments after you apply cream on your face. It absorbs very fast, doesn't leave and greasy feeling on your skin, and it leaves your skin very soft and nice. The packing is in a tube size of 1 .oz, and the price is around 15$.
Iris Hydrating Facial Lotion
Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream - this is also a great product. It has a very pleasant smell of pomegranate and citrus. This hand cream contains certified organic shea butter which protects skin from moisture loss.
The smell is not overpowering, it is very subtle, it absorbs very fast into skin and doesn't leave that sticky feeling on your skin. Hands are moisturized and smooth after one application. It comes in a tube size of 1.3 .oz, and the price is around 15$.
Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream
Birch Cellulite Oil - I was very surprised with this product. I really don't like to use any body oils on my skin, because I don't like that sticky feeling on my skin, and body oils almost always have that feeling on my skin. But sometimes it is necessary to moisture your skin with a bit of a body oil especially if skin is very dry. Like mine.
I believe this body oil is great against cellulite but I haven't test it that long, and after 28 days of a continuous use it should show you some improves.
When I apply it on my body it feels like I was applying a body lotion. It wasn't feel greasy at all. My skin looked very smooth and soft. Again, very pleasant surprise. The smell is not overpowering, it is nice and I could say very calming. :)
The price for a 3.3 .oz bottle is around 30$.
Birch Cellulite Oil
Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream - I wasn't to happy with this product. It is ok, but it is not excellent. It has a nice texture and absorbs very fast into skin but not completely it feels like it is still "sitting" on my skin even it was absorbed. I don't know how to explain it properly, but hope you can understand what I wan't to tell you. After some time my skin feels hydrating and soft, but it is not the same effect like I have with the pomegranate hand cream, which is much better for me.
The price of this product is around 10$ for a 1.6 .oz size of product.
Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream
Sea Buckthorn Body Oil - this product supposed to be for a body massage. I haven't use it like that, just as a body oil, and I have the same felling with this oil like I had with the sea buckthorn hand cream. It just "sits" on my skin and that is it. It is ok product, but I wasn't very thrill with it. It smells ok, like subtle citrus smell, but that is it. The birch cellulite oil is much better oil for me. Price is around 20$ for 3.3 .oz size of product.
Sea Buckthorn Body Oil
Conclusion: I must admit that I'm in love with the Iris Hydrating Facial Lotion and also with Pomegranate Regenerating Hand Cream. And also I will start to use more of natural cosmetics for my skin because I believe they are much better for a healthier skin. Can wait to buy a full size of the Iris Hydrating Facial Lotion, but before I do that, I really need to spend all my supplies of face creams. ;)
This are all PR samples, but that doesn't affect my opinion on this products. They were all tested by me, on my skin so this review was based on my experience on this products.
